I never asked for a BoA credit card. I was one of the many "assets" they acquired when they bought MBNA. I am happy to report that after years of dealing with their incompetent customer service phone monkeys, that account is paid in full, and out of my life, never to be opened again. Now if only someone could tell me the magic words to say to get them to remove the erroneous 30-day late report from my credit file my life would be complete. I didn't have the energy to try again for the longest time, but I'm feeling more buoyant these days for some reason. :)
