I applied for a mortgage loan 3 months ago. My loan officer pre-qualified me and sent my application to the underwriting dept. located in Missouri.  I waited about a month and have not heard anything. I then called the loan processor, Chelsea B., to check the status and she never returned my call. I then heard back from her a week later and she asked me for my tax returns, so I gave it to her. I then never heard from her again so I had no choice but to call her boss. She then tells her boss that she asked me for many documents including my tax returns and I never gave them to her therefore causing a delay. I told her manager that was not true but I will send her whatever documents she needs to continue with my loan application. So another few weeks go by and I still have not heard from her. By this time I already postponed my closing three times. So I emailed her and her boss and was told that they expect to finish the application soon and I can order the title insurance and should be able to close within another 2 weeks.  So one week before closing, she tells me that she needs a document from the sellers and she wants it by end of day. I told her the sellers moved to another state and I would need at least one more day to get it.  Instead, she canceled my application and told her boss that I was not giving her the proper paperwork and told me to reapply.  So after waiting 3 months and postponing my closing and paying for the title search, I ended up losing on the home because the sellers could not wait any longer.  This loan processor was clearly very lazy and looking for excuses to cancel my application since she gets paid the same no matter how many loans she processes.  I've complained to many managers at Bofa and no one cared.
