So I log in to bofa yesterday to look at my cash back rewards money and it's gone.  They claim I redeemed $250 of the $271 I had on, suspiciously, Dec 31, 2011 New Years Eve.  I may have logged in that day, I can't remember, but I did not redeem my rewards.  I was purposely waiting till I have over $300 b/c you get 25% bonus ($75) cash back.  I have done it before and remarkably they gave me an extra $75.  That's why I got the card to begin with.  Of course the cash back rate went from 5% on everything to 1% after a couple months so it has taken forever to build up points now.  So I call them up and spend 20 minutes going back and forth with this guy and on hold most of the time while he "talks to his supervisor".  I closed all my accounts with bofa several months ago except this credit card b/c it is (was) such a good deal so my question to this guy is "where did the money go".  He can't tell me.  He can't see where it went.  The all of a sudden I get transferred to some other number and it's an endless loop of options, none of which I can use.  I put in my CC number like 3 times in the process.  So I call back and get the endless loop again and punch my CC in a couple more times before I get pissed and hang up.  I call back, and this is all the same number I'm dialing, in fact I'm hitting redial, and get a different set of options.  Punch my CC# in a few more times, out of frustration I just pick some option and tell the guy the whole story.  He transfers me to another person, punch the CC# in a couple more times.  This guy does the same thing as the first guy.  He can't find where the money went, puts me on hold while he 
"talks to his supervisor".  He rattles off a couple of account #s all of which are closed or I have no idea what they are.  He calls the checking account dept and they say the money was probably attempted to be put in the closed account and bounced and will be credited to my CC balance and this could take up to 30 days.  Why 30 days?!?!  I did not redeem the points!!!  Why would it allow me (or anyone) to redeem points to a closed account?!?!  So pissed!!!  I freaking hate bofa!!!  I don't know what recourse I have.  Does anyone know where I could file a fraud complaint besides BBB which is useless?  I've thought of filing one with bofa since I did not redeem the points but I think that is pointless b/c they did it.  It's like asking someone to arrest themselves.  Ugh.  I'm waiting to see if the money gets credited to my account and then mailing them the cut up cards with a nasty gram.  Like it will have any impact...
