  • I once had a 35k credit line, I paid off the balance and the cut my credit. OK I said so what. Then they jacked up my int. rate to 20% so I paid off the amount on the next bill. Then I got a bill for interest , I called customer service and complained how can you charge me interest on a acct. that has been paid off by the due date.. ? They said the billing cycle was for last month.. Oh how stupid of me to think that the Bill you sent me was bogus and I realy owed more.. Humph Well I said cancel my acct. I am filing a complaint with the NC banking commission and Oh yea GO TO HELL. I can't get out of your bank fast enough.. YOU SUC

    Wise choice. Find someone who at least ACTS as if they give a crap about your business.
    BofA DOES NOT.

    The Agents and the Bankbots can spend every waking minute typing page after page after page of:
    "It's YOUR fualt."
    "YOU did something wrong."
    "WE don't make mistakes."
    "ALL the banks are doing it."
    "You are all stupid idiots."
    "It's not illegal." (My personal favorite.)

    You know what??
    BofA is PISSING OFF their customers. And they are LEAVING!!!

    Pay attention or don't.....
    And oh yeah, kiss our collective posteriors......... :evil:

    Chill, say what you want, the reality is that when credit lines are cut, its business decision based on either customer history, customer activity, poor paying habits, a change in ratios, a declinging home market or all or some of the above...

    Your own semi-hero, (UNDERWRIter) told you that all banks are doing it, even non banks such as DISCOVER and AmericanExpress! I told you my line was reduced, my midscore is 792, my other scores are 802 and 823, my wifes scores are good too, she got a raise, I got one last year, but we bought a rental home and a new car and now or ratios changed.

    As for Bofa retaining customers all industry sources indicate that now Bank of America is in 1.18 out of every 2 households, and that was just 1 in 2 last year, and, BofA retains 7 out of every 10 customers, the highest in the industry, and the only bank whos sales have increased 2.79% over 2008 in the first quarter alone..

    Its ok to not like a bank and blame everyone else for your ills, or misfortune but at least, get your facts straight. I dont know what all youre claims are about ImBofABOts and Agents, dont let Fence turn you into what he calls others, "dufus" use your head and dont make baseless remarks. Afterall, you said you were going to be civil because I was civil, what did I ever say to you? Grow up, Awake, not a good impression!

    The same figures (residing in 1,18 of every two hopmes) can aso be said about cockroaches.
    Again, we've had this discussion. The majority of those customers had no choice about being "assimilated."
    I myself was brought into the BofA "Collective" through a buy-out.
    Let's see how those numbers look a year from now.
  • I accidental paid my Bank of America credit card 3k and realized that so
    I transferred that money back to my checking account and they charged
    me the cash back + interest.  I called customer service about the
    situation and they said I HAD to pay for that cash advanced.  WTF!!!!!
    That's ripped off.  That's MINE money, and refused to refund the
    money.... Even though, I had been a loyal customer for more than 15
    years.... Forget it, I already closed all my account with BOA and go
    with Wells Fargo.
