Beware of morons
  • Some brain dead teller credited my mortgage payment to an old MasterCard account which I know I have not used since 2009.

I will be at BOA branch office bright and early 09/18/2010 to read them the riot act.

Why are you going to read then the riot act? Because they are human and made a mistake? So...you gonna call the comptroller of the currency, like that deranged pirate suggested? Absent for 4 months and picks up the hatred where it left off? Maybe someone should call you glass house, right? YOU are without error.

Take my advice, call credit card services and have them debit your credit card and credit your mortgage. They can do it over the phone. If they can't credit the mortgage directly because they don't have access to mortgage data, they can credit your checking account, and you can redo the transaction. Mortgage services will waive your fees if any were incurred. The banking center can do it too, but why make the trip?

It's an easy error. All your accounts appear there, the wrong one was credited? Its a mistake. It will be corrected, they will apologize. Save the riot act for something worth your time and effort not a little clerical error. Like I said, you never made a mistake, right?
  • Read one person a "riot act"? I'm sure this will help change the bank around.

Better yet, why not move your mortgage to a more respectable company? Depriving a company of your money _will_ send a message.
  • lol! i read that as beware of mormons.

When BoA starts treating customers with the same understanding you are suggesting the poster to
treat them with, then you'll have a point. Until then, you're trolling and really should go back to
your job @ BoA shafting customers as hard and fast as possible.

    Bias much, you moron?
